The 8 days Safari commences in Kampala and will take you to Murchison Falls National Park for a exciting game watching experience and enjoy cruise on the River Nile, to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will have a Kazinga Channel boat Excursion before relocating to Bwindi Impenetrable national park where you will walk the threatened mountain gorillas in their natural territory. Finally, visit Lake Bunyonyi one of the concealed gems in Uganda for a comforting and refreshing Safari experience.

Itinerary

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Kampala (or Entebbe) and pleasure start this day’s exploration with an exciting road trip to Murchison falls National Park. Laterally here you will make an optional a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a wide-ranging feel of the African safaris. On arrival you will visit the top of the waterfalls where you will observe the Waters of the great River Nile.

After breakfast you will have a game drive early morning to see various animals such as buffaloes, elephants, topi, warthogs, waterbucks and many others. After lunch you will go for a boat cruise on the river Nile for 2 hours during which you will see several birds including a shoebill stork, and animals like Buffaloes, giant Nile crocodiles and many others. This Cruise will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will enjoy uninterrupted views of the magnificence and power of these waterfalls.

Today morning after breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s most renowned game park which prides in a very diverse profusion of wild animals that live in its numerous habitats. Some of the animals you will see include: fight which ranks as one of the most bio diverse fight wave life habitat in the world with several wildlife habitats it supports different animals such as prime it’s like Buffalo’s chimpanzees’ animals like hyenas, cape Buffaloes, elephants, different antelopes and lions.

After early breakfast you will head out to the Kasenyi plains for a game drive experience in this area which is very popular among tourists as it is home to a very large number of different animals such as lions, hyenas, buffaloes. You will have lunch later in the afternoon take a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel a natural waterway that connects lakes George and Edward.

After breakfast and packed lunch, check out and visit to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to tree-climbing lions. Having Lunch enroute before continuing. Check-in, dinner, and overnight at lodge, preparing for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking Uganda experience.

Early in the Morning after breakfast you will have driven to the Park Headquarters for a briefing at 8:00 am to know about the Gorilla tracking rules. After the briefing, you will set off for Gorilla trekking in the thick jungle. The forest covers an area of about 206 square miles (331 square km) at the southwestern edge of the western Rift Valley. Bwindi dense Forest is home to both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, it also hosts five other primate species, 113 mammal species, over 200 butterflies, and 360 bird species.

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in the Kabale district, a scenic lava-dammed lake. The word Bunyonyi is a local name referring to “many little birds” due to the area’s plentiful birdlife, making it an exceptional spot for bird fans. In Lake Bunyonyi, you can relax and choose from several activities, including a boat cruise to one of the lake’s most historic islands, swimming, or zip-lining etc. All these adventure activities offer an amazing experience. You’ll devote the night at one of the lodges on the lake shores.

As you drive back to Entebbe, you again pass through the villages with their lively marketplaces and the outstretched countryside with tea and coffee plantations, smooth green hills and the occasional wildlife waving you goodbye.
